This small, uninhabited island has seen mass development over recent years, and is now a busy hub of activity for day trippers and outdoor enthusiasts. Water sports abound here with kayaking, windsurfing and swimming all available while those who like to keep their feet on the ground, hiking, volleyball and mountain bike riding are all available.
The beaches running along the outskirts of the island are truly beautiful, with long stretches of golden sand and shade under the scenic coconut trees. As there is no accommodation on the island, the beaches are generally very quiet with minimal facilities. While there is no accommodation such as hotels or guest houses on the island, it is possible to camp here. Equipment can be hired for a small fee and you can stay as long as you like. It is the perfect place to escape to and is easily reached by boat from Phuket.
