The marine life found here is exceptional and plentiful. The rocky pools are home to countless species of fish and sea life. The only downside is that you will need to bring your own snorkel and mask as there are no rental shops along the beach.
At just 200 metres, Ao Sane is a small beach, but this adds to its charm and laid back character. It sees many visitors throughout the high season, but not too many that it ever gets crowded. Located on the southwestern tip of Phuket, Ao Sane does not have many facilities and just a scattering of accommodation options, but people who visit do not come for modern development.
For most people, the allure of Ao Sane is its untamed beauty and lack of activities on offer. They come to relax, chill out on the beach and enjoy the stunning scenery. With just one restaurant, dining options are very limited but again, this is part of the charm. The restaurant is famed for its warm and friendly service and excellent Thai food. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For a larger choice of restaurants and eateries, Nai Harn Beach is just five minutes away and offers much more choice.
Parties are often held on the beach and if you are visiting over the Christmas period, the beach parties on Christmas night and New Years Eve are second to none.
